Water Resources Advisory Commission Reports
The WRAC, as it is known, serves as an advisory body to the Governing Board of the South Florida Water Management District, and as a forum for improving public participation and decision-making in water resource issues affecting South Florida. Four residents of Southwest Florida who are or have been active with the Council are members -- Mike Bauer (Natural Resources Manager for the City of Naples), Beverly Grady (Attorney with Roetzel & Andress, LPA), Howard Wegis (Engineer With Lee County Utilities) and Bill Hammond (Professor Emeritus with Florida Gulf Coast University) are appointed members of the WRAC.
From 2005 to 2006, Susan Brookman represented the Southwest Florida Watershed Council on the WRAC, and she prepared reports on each meeting she attended. Those reports can be accessed below. Summaries of WRAC meetings prepared by the South Florida Water Management District are posted on the District's web site at http://www.sfwmd.gov/gover/wrac/minutes.html.
